You Are Here is an application allowing you to be located on any map you take in picture. Additionnally, you can used maps shared by the You Are Here team or users.

Personal information we collect

You can suggest maps to add in the shared maps list. When doing this, we ask for an email address and you collect it. It is only used to ask more precision about your suggestion if needed and to inform you about its status.

Other information collected

The application send anonymous information about the usage. It includes:

which screens are visited and during how long
the location of the added maps
crash reports

We collect this data to understand how our app is used and to improve it

You Are Here provides a sharing feature. Using this feature allows to create a unique and personal link that you can share, allowing the persons who know it to use your maps. When using this feature, the photo of the map and its location will be collected by You Are Here and only be available to the people who know the link

You Are Here provides a publishing feature. If you use this feature and it is validated by You Are Here, your map will be publically available in the "shared maps" screen by anyone using the app. When using this feature, the photo of the map and its location will be collected by You Are Here and be available by anyone accessing your map
